NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BY THE MUNICIPAL BOARD OF MANITOBA
RE: CITY OF MORDEN – ZONING BY-LAW NO. 08-2017

IN THE MATTER OF an appeal by the Applicant of a decision of the City of Morden (the “City”) refusing an application to amend Zoning By-law No. 08-2017 pursuant to Section 82.1(1)(a) of The Planning Act (the”Appeal”). The proposed amendment seeks to rezone land located at 23 Stephen Street from “RT” Residential Two Family District to “RM-S” Residential Multiple-Family Small District to permit a proposed multi-family development (the “Proposed Amendment”).
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, under the provisions of The Planning Act, C.C.S.M. c. P80 and The Municipal Board Act, C.C.S.M. c. M240, the Board will hold a public hearing to receive representations from any person regarding the Appeal.
The public hearing will take place on August 29, August 30 and August 31, 2023 at 9:30am at the Access Event Centre, 111-D Gilmour Street, Morden, Manitoba.
Any interested person may make a representation on the Appeal. A person who wishes to make a written and/or oral presentation to the Board must register by filing a completed Public Presenter Form with the Board at least ten (10) working days prior to the hearing.
The Board requires that an interested person who intends on filing a written submission must file four (4) copies of that material with the Board and one (1) copy with the City of Morden for public viewing at least ten (10) working days prior to the hearing, failing which copies of the written submission must be provided to the Board and the parties at the hearing.

A copy of the Proposed Amendment, briefs and documents concerning the Appeal, are available for public viewing at the City of Morden Municipal office, 100-195 Stephen Street, Morden, Manitoba.
